It’s spring, and that means it’s Easter time! I’ll be spending Easter at home with my family this year – a far cry from my chaotic Easter in Jaipur last year! In Texas, springtime also means bluebonnet season, when fields and highway shoulders all over the state come to life with the state flower. I took the photo below in a park near my home in Houston. Fortunately, I got there relatively soon after they bloomed – a field of bluebonnets doesn’t last more than a couple weeks before it’s trampled to death by frolicking family photoshoots!
